There are over a hundred different images to chose from including landscape, macro and creature shots.  There is something to cater to everyone but if you've seen a photograph on my blog/flickr that you like, just request that and it can be made into a card especially for you.  Send me an e-mail, give me a call or leave a message here, it couldn't be any simpler! 

An introduction and a birthday ...

Over here at A Camera's Country View we have some big news. Not only is today the lovely Rhid's birthday (happy birthday, I love you ♥ ), but we have to make an introduction to you.  We have had a new addition to the family, on Friday we brought home a lovely pair of kittens!  A little 12-weed old girl, Poppy, who had been found abandoned and an 8-week old boy, Yoda.  This isn't going to be a long post as I have to get back to playing with them but just wanted to share the news and tell you a bit about them.  Poppy has been such a brave little thing, wandering around and playing a lot.  Yoda is far more timid.  Unused to his surroundings he hid under the couch for about 12 hours but has ventured out and now they've made friends.  To be honest, Yoda was in awe of Poppy from the beginning, following her around and making cow eyes but Poppy wasn't too keen until something happened yesterday afternoon and she just went and slept on top of him!  I wasn't going to blog about them, it makes it even more upsetting if something horrible happens but then I thought about all the good things about posting about Kiki.  I have all the cute photographs and funny stories documented on here.  So I'm giving it another go.  I'll come back over the next few days and share some things, tell you what their favourite things to do are and I'm sure there will be plenty of photographs.  In the meantime, I'm about to eat homemade raspberry and white chocolate cake ('specially requested by the birthday boy), cook up a storm and play with tiny balls of fluff!  I hope that you all have a wonderful day too.

A study in light ...

The light at this time of year, when it isn't raining, is superb.  Finding those moments when the sun is shining and the leaves are still hanging on makes me happy.  It seems as though time is very precious at the moment and getting out with my camera is extremely rare, but when you find gems like these you remember your passion.

5 years ....♥

19th September was our fifth anniversary, five years!  It's funny how it seems like hardly any time at all and yet on the other hand, as though we have been together all our lives.  I am still excited that we get to spend forever together.

To celebrate, we went to our usual anniversary fish 'n chip date.  It was lovely, we went to Beaumaris, ate chips, saw the sea and held hands.  It was cold but lovely to be wearing autumn colours again.  I just wish that torrential rain hadn't set in...I now seem to permanently be in boots rather than cute flats.

Tomorrow, I'll show you some photos from anniversary date 2, complete with blackberries, a lake and even some sunshine!

Final throws of summer ...

 Although I have made no secret of my excitement about the impending autumn and am really looking forward to sharing autumn colour with you, I am still enjoying the final throws of summer and the small splashes of green that are brought along with it.  Finding this little dragonfly was a boon.  Sleepy and heavy, he wasn't in a hurry to move along.  He was a natural in front of the camera and the colours of his surroundings complimented him perfectly.  Autumn colours are rapidly approaching but lets enjoy the last shades of green.
